![]() ![]() His motivation, look and character all sucked. Why he's one of the worst.Įven before this retcon I keep talking about, Judas wasn't exactly a Venom or the Green Goblin tier villain. Mainly due to the fact he was retconned which made his previous showings very questionable and seemingly makes no sense. ![]() Traveller would show up a lot more throughout Marvel's infamous clone saga mainly observing Peter and Ben, sometimes with his best pal and fellow mysterious guy who was later retconned and made no sense, Scrier (Don't worry he will be on here as well) Based on multiple reviews and complaint's I've heard about the Clone saga Judas ranks in those reviews high enough. Traveller causes him to enter Ravencroft gives him the option to replace Peter, blah, blah they defeat the prisoners and Traveller kicks off. Traveller causes Peter to basically go insane (Which was a common trope during the Clone saga) he learns of Peter's clone, Ben Reilly. The idea of good and evil fascinates Traveller so he draws Peter into the institution, states that if Peter fails to defeat him he will kill everyone in the prison but if he beats him he will free everyone. Upon visiting the Asylum he discovered one common thing among all prisoner, a hatred of Spider-man. ![]() Years later Traveller alongside his rock group the Host visits Ravencroft institution (Marvel's version of Arkham Asylum) because the criminal mind intrigued him as well as the fact he's a criminal psychologist. Anyway, as for his 'backstory' Judas Traveller was seemingly some mystical ancient near cosmic being that apparently walked the earth for thousands of years. Most 90's kids remember this guy as 'The hyped up omnipotent guy who appeared in all of Spider-man's books that later was retconned' I'll get into what this retcon was later. We're not sure what would compel Doc Ock or the Goblin to stop trying to kill Spider-Man for more than five minutes, but the idea of being able to play as them - even in the context of a linear brawler - is actually kind of compelling.Hello everyone, I've decided to create a series in which I tackle some of Spider-man's best and worst enemies. But what sets this game apart is that some of the levels will involve tracking down Spidey's archenemies, pounding them into next week and then adding them to the team once they've been beaten. Your buddies will start out innocuously enough, with Spidey pairing up with a small selection of other Marvel heroes (the first one we saw in action was D-list hero Iron Fist). The hero tagging along will be decided automatically at first, but eventually, you'll be able to pick your favorite from a pool of 13 between stages. Friend or Foe is built around co-op play, meaning that two characters will be onscreen at all times, and you'll be able to switch between them at will (or get a friend to jump in and play second banana). He's not Spider-Man's only sidekick, either. He's then rescued at the last minute by the New Goblin, who's apparently Spidey's cheerful, wisecracking sidekick now. Octopus, Sandman and Venom, all of whom are alive and well. During the game's opening, Spidey gets attacked by the Green Goblin, Dr. We say "Saturday-morning cartoon" because the game - admittedly is aimed at Spidey's younger fans - seems to take place in a happier, gentler version of the world seen in the movies. ![]()
